We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Global Payments to lead and execute our payments strategy. This role is vital in negotiating and integrating various payment providers, driving cost savings and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the payments industry, with extensive experience in ISVs and SaaS platforms, adept in contract negotiations, and strategic planning

🚀 What You'll Do
NewStore Payments StrategyAct as the subject matter expert on global payments capabilities, requirements, and trends within NewStoreDevelop and implement a comprehensive global payments strategy that includes in-house payments, direct processor relationships, gateways, and alternative payment productsIdentify and pursue opportunities for payment innovations to align with NewStore’s overall business objectivesExplore and establish potential collaborations and innovations that support the strategic visionRelationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for all entities in the payments ecosystemFunction as the NewStore expert in customer interactions requiring deep payments expertiseEffectively manage and resolve any issues, ensuring smooth and productive relationshipsPerformance ManagementLead contract negotiations with vendors, securing favorable terms for NewStoreMonitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance and high standardsCollaborate with external entities to drive sales and achieve NewStore’s demand generation targets, ensuring measurable results and continuous growthNewStore Product DevelopmentWork closely with the product team to align product development with market trends and customer needsEnsure alignment of our go-to-market and business development activities with the evolving global payments strategyMarket InsightsStay updated on trends, innovations, and regulatory changes in the payments industryAssess the impact of these changes on NewStore's business and customers, providing strategic insightsMaintain a deep understanding of the competition, market trends, and the changing operating and regulatory environment


📚 Your Story
Extensive Industry Experience:10+ years of experience in the payments, embedded payments, and SaaS industry, with a strong track record in managing and growing payment relationships. A strong understanding of the broader payment landscape, including processing, underwriting, risk management, KYC, fraud, and tax, is an asset.
Strategic Leadership:Proven ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans that align with company goals and drive growth.
Negotiation skills:Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations, with the ability to secure favorable terms and manage vendor performance effectively.
Analytical Acumen:Strong analytical skills to evaluate industry trends, partner performance, and regulatory changes, providing actionable insights for the business.
Results-Driven:A track record of meeting and exceeding sales and channel demand generation targets through effective collaboration and strategic initiatives.
